SCORR Marketing is seeking a part-time intern in our Kearney office to assist our interactive team. Our ideal candidate has an open-mind, is a natural problem solver, and is willing to learn while bringing forth their own ideas and solutions in our fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work under the direction of the Development Director
- Assist with website content updates and page builds across multiple WordPress websites
- Edit and format content using the WordPress block editor and custom page builder components
- Update images, links, PDFs, forms, and other on-page content
- Perform routine website maintenance tasks (content audits, basic QA, broken link checks, etc.)
- Apply basic HTML and CSS for minor layout or formatting adjustments when needed
- Follow established brand, accessibility, and content standards
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and project managers to implement requested updates
- Test updates across browsers and devices to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Document changes and communicate progress clearly with the team
REQUIREMENTS
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Multimedia, Web Development, Software Engineering, Visual Communication and Design, or a related field (sophomore or junior standing preferred)
- Familiarity with WordPress
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Basic understanding of HTML & CSS
- Knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
